Take your corporate career to the next level with AIPE's Diploma of Business. This qualification delivers the broad range of knowledge and skills required by anyone wanting to work in a managerial or supervisory role. These skills are transferrable across a variety of business fields such as marketing, accounting or human resources.

To enrol in this course you must already have a solid foundation in business. This course builds on your current work experience to ensure students are able to make a real difference at a senior level in the corporate world where you will be required to manage varied projects and deal with staff on a daily basis.

By the end of this course, you will have learnt the theory and skills required for managing people and performance, marketing, administering business systems, managing projects and communicating in business contexts.

Career opportunities include office manager, section coordinator, senior officer, project officer and procurement officer.

The basis of our assessment strategy is to provide you with the means to demonstrate that you have the knowledge and skills to undertake real-world activities to a current industry standard. In each subject there is a similar pattern of assessment. There are specific assessment tasks such as projects, case studies and reports, there will be an interview with your tutor, and an online final exam. To pass each subject, you must successfully complete all the tasks set for you. Importantly, you will also be graded on your skills (where appropriate) such as communication, problem-solving, leadership, organizing and planning and teamwork. These skills are critical in distinguishing yourself in job interviews and in the workplace.

AIPE's online courses are available to Australian students only.

Online students must be currently working or have access to a workplace for this course. You may be working full-time, part-time, casually or volunteering/interning.

You must also have your Higher School Certificate or equivalent OR relevant qualifications (at a Cert III or above level) OR relevant work experience.

• A computer with either Windows 98 or higher OR Mac OSX 10.2 or higher
• CD-ROM drive
• Internet access.

Upon successful completion of the Diploma of Business course at AIPE, you will be able to progress into Advanced Diploma courses. Should you wish to study a particular course at a university with which AIPE has an articulation agreement, you must meet the admission criteria set by the university of your choice.
