AIPE's approach to online learning

AIPE's online e-Learning portal is called AIPE Connect. Login and within seconds you'll have access to all the learning materials, interact with trainers and fellow students, and access any administrative support you may need.

At AIPE, we're focused on your success. As such, you'll have access to AIPE's comprehensive student support services to make sure you have every chance of successfully completing your course. They will assist you with everything from how to enrol to the orientation process and using the learning portal.

Each online unit has a dedicated trainer who will guide your learning, provide feedback on all assessments and encourage interactive discussion with other students. Study materials are presented in a range of formats including PDFs, videos, interactive media, discussion forums and blogs. The variety of online materials keeps the learning interesting.

The assessment process is also contained within the AIPE Connect framework. All assignments are submitted online also, making every aspect of your learning as convenient as possible. You can only progress through the course when you pass the current module. This way, the overall course is presented in bite-sized chunks so you won't feel overwhelmed.

Online entry requirements:

• Online students must be currently working or have access to a workplace for this course. You may be working full-time, part-time, casually or volunteering/interning.
• You must also have your Higher School Certificate or equivalent OR relevant qualifications (at a Cert III or above level) OR relevant work experience.
• You must also meet English entry requirements for all vocational courses.

Computer requirements:

• A computer with either Windows 98 or higher OR Mac OSX 10.2 or higher
• CD-ROM drive
• Internet access
