For professionals working in the healthcare industry who would like to practise in Australia, we offer English for Healthcare Professionals (EHP). Learn English vocabulary associated with anatomy and physiology, symptoms and diagnosis, allied and mainstream health, sensitive issues, examining a patient, hygiene and infection control, medication and alternative treatments - all essential areas required to thrive in the Australian healthcare industry.
This course is specially designed to cater for students with a background in healthcare, nursing or medicine who need help to cope with higher level English language skills that are required to practise in an Australian Health workspace. It consists of theoretical and practical activities in a practical and interactive classroom setting.
During this course you will:
- Develop English language skills to communicate at a level that meets Australian healthcare industry standards
- Learn how to use appropriate English in a healthcare environment within an English speaking country
- Increase your cultural understanding of an English speaking healthcare environment
